Temp-Text (TempText) is a free temp message service online. Enter any text, set a lifetime, and get a unique temp link to share. Your temp message or temp note is automatically deleted after the first read or when the timer expires — no sign-up needed.
All messages are encrypted with the AES-256-CBC algorithm before being stored in the database. The original text is never stored in plain form. AES-256 is the same standard used by banks and government systems.
If you selected the "one-time" option, the message is deleted immediately after the recipient's first view. Even if the recipient shares the link with someone else, the message cannot be read again.
You can set a lifetime from 1 minute to 3 days (4320 minutes). After the lifetime expires, the message becomes unavailable and is marked for deletion from the database.

We store the creator's IP address solely to protect against abuse (spam, attacks). Data is not shared with third parties except as required by law.
Yes, much safer than a messenger or email. A temp message on Temp-Text lives exactly as long as you set — and vanishes without a trace. Use it as a temp txt link for one-time delivery of passwords, codes, or private notes.
The maximum message length is 15,000 characters, which is sufficient for most use cases.
